Prices
How much does a haircut cost at Salon X Papas?
Style cuts are priced by stylist. Women's style cuts range from $100 to $700 and men's from $80 to $500. Every style cut includes a full consultation, scalp massage, wash, cut and blow dry.
Why do prices differ between stylists?
Prices reflect each stylist's experience and demand, from our emerging team through to founder Dmitri Papas, Australian Hairdresser of the Year 2015.
How much is hair colour?
Regrowth colour is from $195, full colour from $200 and foils from $200, depending on length and whether you see a Senior or Director Tech. Balayage is priced on application. Prices don't include toner or gloss.
Do you offer discounts for students or children?
Students receive 20% off with a valid student ID and children under 16 receive 30% off. These discounts don't apply to retail purchases.
Booking
How do I book an appointment?
Request an appointment online with your preferred date, time and service and our front of house team will contact you to confirm, or call the salon on 07 3569 6800.
Can I request a specific stylist?
Yes. Mention who you'd like to see when you book. If you're not sure, our reception team will suggest the best fit for your hair.
Do I need a consultation before a colour change?
Hair consultations are complimentary, so you can talk through a change or colour plan before you commit.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your appointment may incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Visiting the salon
Where is Salon X Papas?
We're at 18 Longland St, Newstead, in the Long Island building in the Gasworks precinct, close to Teneriffe and New Farm.
Where do I park?
Park under the salon with Secure Parking, entering via Festival Place, and validate your ticket at reception for 3 hours free parking. There is also parking on Longland St and at Gasworks.
What are your opening hours?
Monday 9am to 6pm, Tuesday 9am to 8pm, Wednesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm, Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 4pm. We're closed on Sundays.
Can I bring my dog?
Due to health and safety regulations, pets are not allowed in the salon. Assistance dogs are welcome.
Can I buy the products you use?
Yes. Our hair care range is available in the salon and online at store.salonxpapas.com.
